FAQs

Do I need a visa to visit Morocco?
US, EU, and UK passport holders can enter Morocco visa-free for up to 90 days. Please check the requirements for your specific nationality well in advance.
How can I get there?
There are a few ways to reach Tangier — by plane, train, or ferry!

By air: From Puerto Rico and Miami, the most direct route is through Madrid. From NYC, there are more options, especially to Casablanca.

By train: If you fly into Casablanca, a high-speed train will get you to Tangier in about 2 hours. Economy seats start around $36 and First Class around $46.

By ferry: If you fly into Málaga, you can drive (or hire a driver) to Tarifa and catch a ferry to Tangier. Ferries run daily, take about 1 hour, and cost approximately €40. You can book here: clickferry.com
When should I arrive?
The first official event is the Welcome Party on Friday at 6 PM, so plan to arrive by then!
Is there a room block?
Yes! We have reserved rooms at a discounted rate at the Fairmont. We recommend booking early, as June is a popular time to visit Tangier.

To make planning easier, we're happy to recommend our travel planner, Ana Reguero, who can help with flights, accommodations, and all the details.

What should I wear?
Friday, Welcome Party: Kaftans encouraged! If not, Moroccan inspired attire is perfect - come embrace the spirit of Tangier!
Saturday, Wedding: Tangier Chic Formal — dress to impress, drawing from Moroccan inspired styles that balance elegance and ease, capturing the timeless spirit of Tangier.
Sunday, Brunch: Beach casual.

June evenings can be breezy, so a light layer is always a good idea.

🕌 A note on local culture: Tangier is one of Morocco's most cosmopolitan cities. When exploring the medina and markets, lightweight fabrics like linen and cotton are ideal for June. Maxi dresses, flowy pants, and loose tops all work beautifully. Swimwear is great at hotel pools and beaches — just toss on a cover-up when heading into town. A light scarf is a great idea for the afternoon when it gets a bit chillier.
Where can I find a Kaftan in Tangier?
